Time to get off the pot

12 April—What will it take for the U.S., NATO, and the EU to actually do something useful to help Ukraine defeat or at least get rid of Vladimir Putrid and his Russian goons? They’ve been breaking virtually all the rules of war and humanity, such as they may be, and committing crimes against civilians since the very beginning. And all the allies can do is study, consider, discuss, apply pretty useless sanctions, and make idle promises. And don’t forget the idle threats.

It certainly looks like the allies—the alleged good guys—are actually colluding with Putrid to give him everything he wants, while trying to make it look like they’re opposing him. Today Ukraine, tomorrow the world?

Thanks to Putrid, Sweden and Finland are now closer to joining NATO. Wow! Who knew they weren’t already in NATO? Who cared? But now it looks like those two undeniably amiable subarctic paradises are so impressed with NATO’s proven noninterventionist pacifism that they want to be an official part of it. Or maybe they’re afraid that Putrid may have his sights on them, too, and hope that NATO will at least support and protect its own.

Excuse-for-President Joe Biden’s excuse for a national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, assures us that Putrid’s new notorious genocidal general sent to command the Russian invaders won’t be able to make any difference in reversing his troops’ ongoing “strategic failure” in Ukraine. And, of course, Jake insists, as he’s been doing since even before the actual invasion, “The United States is determined to do all that we can to support Ukrainians as they resist him and they resist the forces that he commands.”

Boy, is Jake Sullivan full of shit! Let me repeat: “The United States is determined to do all that we can to support Ukrainians as they resist him and they resist the forces that he commands.” And let me repeat: Boy, is Jake Sullivan full of shit!

Jake, The U.S., NATO, the EU, and the world at large have proven that. Perhaps the problem is that Russia’s strategic failure is due to Ukraine’s unbridled determination not to knuckle under—and only to that. So it’s Ukraine’s fault that they’re going it alone?

The latest tactic to scare Putrid and Russia out of Ukraine is that the World Council of Churches is considering expelling the Russian Orthodox Church from its august ranks because Patriarch Krill, that church’s prelate, backs—or at least backed—Putrid and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The very thought must give Putrid and the Patriarch palpitations.

Perhaps it will take an actual Russian invasion of U.S. territory to get us to do something positive . . .
