4 March—Dear La Conservatissima isn’t one to miss an opportunity to bitch about liberals. And sure enough, commenting on yesterday’s DEI, DEO, and POP, here’s what she emailed:

“Chis Murphy is a total jackass!!!! He was bankrupt when he was elected to Congress!!!! Now his wife was smart To divorce him!!!! He just wants to hear himself talk….. if he thinks he could get elected president he is full of shit 💩. I wish he would shut his f_ _ _ _ _ _ mouth!!!!!!”

“F_ _ _ _ _ _ mouth!!!!!!”? It’s not like La and rather inconsiderate of her in the circumstance to leave us guessing about her intended adjective, so let’s assume it’s “foolish.” Not that it matters, but Chris Murphy wasn’t bankrupt when he was elected to Congress. Nope. Rather, his home in Cheshire was being foreclosed by Chase during his first term. It never got that far, of course.

For the record, it’s Donald Trump who resorted to bankruptcy six times. They all were Chapter 11, so we don’t know how severely he was able to screw his creditors. But it’s a safe bet none of them made out at all well in the reorganization of Trump’s finances.

It’s gratifying, by the way, that La Conservatissima is using the strabismic turd emoji.

On to the topic of the day, then, The Monitor’s veteran photographer, who has since been banned from the White House, had her experimental spirit/ambience-sensitive sheet-film camera with her last Friday at the Zelenskyy-Trump confrontation in the Oval Office.
