4 July—Independence Day 2025 is just one more day in the excruciating death of what had been the world’s greatest republic. On second thought, the republic ceased to exist on 1 July 2024 when the Supreme Court in Trump v. United States effectively made the president an absolute monarch immune from criminal prosecution and therefore above the law.

Not that Donald Trump has ever given a damn about the law anyway and has likely been a bully and tyrant since his privileged childhood, albeit until the Supreme Court’s disastrous ruling sanctioned only by his family and flunkies.

In all events, given the impunible omnipotence abusively, sociopathically, unstably, vengefully wielded by Donald Trump invariably in his own interest, the United States of America has clearly become an absolute monarchy under the fat thumb of a despicable and corrupt tyrant who is aided by an equally despicable and corrupt administration and judiciary and abetted by a gutless as well as self-serving legislature.
