5 January—Whoops, that’s clearly a typo. It should be Oh, you fog! Shame on me. Unusually foggy weather so far this winter. Last time that happened—a few decades ago, as I recall—we didn’t get too much snow. Let the D.C. area get the lousy weather. We up here deserve mild, minimally cold, minimally snowy winters, even if we have to put up with a bit of fog . . .
