Trump will have been democratically and officially inaugurated as 47^th President of the United States. The United States had almost recovered from Trump’s ignominious self-dealing and unrelentingly corrupt 45^th presidency and looked forward to recovering from Joe Biden’s 46^th presidential fiasco. Indeed, some Americans still nurtured the hope that since Trump couldn’t lawfully serve a third term, in 2029 we’d be able to look back at the preceding duodecennium as nothing but a bad dream.
